On 22.09.2026 in Lutsk open Two New Lutsk Town Criers Mini Sculptures - Taras Mokryi and Ivanko Chystyi as part of the Lutsk Town Crier Tourist Project.

Even in the harsh times of the Middle Ages Ivanko Chystyi cared about cleanliness - both his own and that of his surroundings. Today, he symbolizes the environmental awareness of Lutsk residents and our commitment to the "zero waste" initiative.

You can meet Ivanko Chystyi Mini Sculpture on Lesi Ukrainky St near building №16.

Taras Mokryi possessed a special gift: he could precisely sense where the purest water flowed underground and identify the best spots for new wells. Today, his mission is carried on by "Lutskvodokanal" which supplies high-quality water to Lutsk and fourteen surrounding villages.

You can see Taras Mokryi Mini Sculpture near the fountain in the park opposite Lyceum №4, Voli Ave, 25.

These town crier sculptures were created by the municipal enterprise "Lutskvodokanal" as part of the "Town Crier" Tourist Project. Initiated in 2015 by the Lutsk City Council’s Department of Tourism and City Promotion, the project aims to boost the city's appeal to tourists.

The sculptor behind these figures as well as many others is Nika Muzychko from Lviv.

The total number of Lutsk Town Criers Mini Sculptures currently is twenty four and we expect more to be opened in the next years.

Just remind that throughout the tourist season the official Lutsk Town Crier Andriy Yedinak performs a trumpet-blowing ritual and announces events of importance to the city from the Entrance Tower of Lutsk Castle.

Specifically, the ritual takes place once a day at 12:00 on weekdays and twice a day at 12:00 and 18:00 on weekends and public holidays.

When necessary, the town crier can announce specific events or city-wide activities. Lutsk Town Crier Andriy Yedinak also participates in cultural, educational and festive events held in the city.
