Alexander Milov's LOVE returns as the Real Love Sculpture for Burning Man 2026 |
After eleven years since the appearance of LOVE sculpture during Burning Man 2015 Alexander Milov will bring a new and final project from the LOVE series to Burning Man 2026. This is more than just a sculpture - it’s a traveling media platform that, after the festival, will spend a year crossing the United States, bringing people together for open conversations about love. The journey will become a documentary exploring a simple but important question: "What is love and how do we preserve it in our relationships?". The physical part of the project is complete and already on its way to the USA but there is still a long road ahead: customs clearance, transportation, installation, lighting, the power system and taking the project across the country. The idea of the Real Love Sculpture is a combination of two ideas of LOVE sculpture for Burning Man 2015 and Wedding E-carriage which should be realised for Burning Man 2021 but finally for some reasons did not work out.
