On 31th of December 2017 in Odessa was opened new art object Angel with Smartphone - an art sculpture of famous Odessa artist Alexandr Milov.

The name of the sculptural composition is "Doors of Paradise". In the smartphone there is a shining keyhole that reflects the idea of doors to paradise which guards the angel. On the invisible side of smartphone for the viewer - the clock that is clocked backwards. The digits of the clock could be seen in the reflection of the angel's glasses. It is a symbol of the passing time.

Ten-ton angel is made of steel pipes protected by an anti-corrosion coating and equipped with LED backlighting as well as the clock.

Angel with Smartphone is located not far from Odessa Central Railway Station - just 15 minutes of comfortable walking. The angel seats its back to and not so far from railway so possibly will be visible from passing trains.

To get the maximum effect of the sculptural composition Angel with Smartphone it is better to come after sunset when it is illuminated in blue.

Alexandr Milov confirmed that by his idea this angel is Angel Michael - symbol and heavenly patron of Kiev. So this new art object connects Odessa and Kiev even more as tourist destinations.
