After 1st of June 2014 will be opened new route of hi-speed trains Intercity + between Kyiv and Truskavets. With new hi-speed train it is possible to reach Truskavets just for 7 hours and 12 minutes traveling the distance of 705 km.

New train number 741/742 Kyiv - Truskavets will depart daily at 06:48 from Kyiv Central Railway Station, make stops in Lviv (11:59-12:19) and in Drohobych (13:34-13:44) and arrive to Truskavets at 14:00.

On back way from Truskavets hi-speed train Intercity + depart at 15:40, make stops in Drohobych (15:56-16:06) and Lviv (17:29-17:58) and arrive to Kyiv Central Railway Station at 22:55.

The new train Inetrcity + 741/742 Kyiv - Truskavetsspecifically adapted to the needs of tourists who come to Truskavets immediately after the start of settlement time in Truskavets hotels (check in at 14:00) and left hotels in Truskavets (most hotels checkout time at 12:00) with possibility to slowly get to Truskavets train station without long waiting.

Interregional electric dual power "Hyundai Rotem" designed for high-speed passenger cars with maximum speed of 160 km/h.

"Hyundai Rotem" consists of 9 cars (three cars of first class (№2, №5, №8 cars) and six cars of second class (№1, №3, №4, №6, №7, №9). The total number of seats - 579 seats. Passengers are served by 3 stewards. All cars have automatic external electric sliding doors, ventilation and air conditioning - the cooling function (in summer) and heating function (in winter), 2 bathrooms, vacuum environment, buffet. Additionally "Hyundai Rotem" adapted for people with disabilities (there are special bathrooms and space for wheel-chair).
