On 02.06.2026 in National University Kyiv Aviation Institute Hangar took place postage stamp cancellation is called 80 Years of Antonov JSC: Ukraine's Engineering Strength with participation of Antonov test pilot Oleksandr Halunenko.

80 Years of Antonov JSC: Ukraine's Engineering Strength Stamp Plot

The stamp depicts aircraft designer Oleg Antonov in his youth - he symbolizes the extraordinary and full of achievements of the past of Ukrainian aviation.

The stamp also features a woman with drawings who looks into the horizon - this is a symbol of modern Ukrainian aviation.

In the foreground of the stamp is a boy launching a toy model of the airplane Antonov AN-225 Mriya - the future new Dream of Ukraine. Soon such young dreamers will also take on the wing.

Ukrainian aviation persons took part in the cancellation of the postage stamp:

- Oleksandr Halunenko - the test pilot of the Antonov Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex who set 263 world aviation records, Hero of Ukraine
- Anna Antonova - professor of the Department of Air Transportation Organization of the National University "Kyiv Aviation Institute", daughter of the brilliant aircraft designer OlegAntonov
- Igor Kravchyshyn - First Vice-Rector of the National University "Kyiv Aviation Institute"
- Igor Smilyansky - General Director of the Academy of Sciences "Ukrposhta"
- Andriy Yermolenko - artist and author of the stamp

After the postage stamp cancellation an autograph session and a raffle of aviation souvenirs for the philatelic community took place.
