Memory Routes Watch.Lest We Forget.Tell National Project |
Kyiv Region Nine locations in Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Moshchun the courage of Ukrainian defenders: - destroyed Antonov Airport (UKKM) and the unique cargo plane Antonov AN-225 Mriya Each point of the route is equipped with QR codes with videos and chronicles, information steles. In addition professional tour guides who have undergone training will tell about the history of these places. Chernihiv Region - school in Yahodne, where 380 people, including 70 children, spent 27 days of occupation in the basement Two more locations are in development: Chornovola Street and Chernihiv Historical Museum named after Tarnovsky. Memory Routes "Watch.Lest We Forget.Tell" are a way to transform war places into collective memory and a space for reflection and worthy commemoration. The project was initiated by State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine together with Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories. It is part of the strategy of historical memory and internal resilience. Soon Memory Routes "Watch.Lest We Forget.Tell" will appear in Lviv and Kherson region and in every region of Ukraine. Each community independently determines the locations that will most eloquently tell about Ukraine war.
