On 05.09.2020 in Kiev at at Rusanivskyi Channel will be held Red Bull Flugtag - real challenge for eccentric engineers and fearless pilots who wish to fulfill their dream of flying.

Update! The event dates are changed to next year 2021!

The event start at 12:00 and finish at around 17:00 with awarding of winners.

Everyone could participate in the competition with own design of flying machine - the registration for the event is completed on 31.05.2020.

There are some demands about the construction of flying machines:

- flying machine must be shifted by the power of man
- wingspan of flying machine should be no more than 8 meters
- wheelbase of flying machine must be no more than 4 meters
- flying machine should be not more than 2 meters high
- the maximum take-off weight of the hull of the flying machine and wheelbase with the pilot - no more than 200 kg
- flying machine should have buoyancy device

Maximum number of teams and flying machines are 40 which will be chosen by competent jury.

The main winner evaluation criteria:

- creativity of the flying machine
- performing artistry of a team at the start
- flight range

Red Bull Flugtag Awards

- The winner team of Red Bull Flugtag get as a prize - Trip to Salzburg, Austria and visit Hangar-7!
- The second place winner team - flight by aircraft Yak-52 with aerobatics
- The thirds place winner team - flight by an amphibian plane

In front of all viewers a team of a pilot and 4 pushing participants need to take-off from 30-meter ramp-runway on height of 6 meters and fly the maximum distance with landing in the water of Rusanivska Channel making a leap of faith.

The last one Red Bull Flugtag in Kiev, Ukraine took place 7 years ago in 2013 at Rusanivskyi Channel.
