On 10.07.2019 is accepted for maintenance Chernobyl New Safe Confinement - arch structure of 257 meters in width, 110 metres in height and 165 metres in length over Shelter Object of 4th Reactor of Chernobyl NPP.

Chernobyl NSC is multipurpose complex for Shelter Object (Sarcophagus) transformation into an environmentally safe system.

By the project the arch should stand for at least 100 years that lets to dismantle unstable structures of Shelter Object (Sarcophagus, 30.11.1986), remove lava-like fuel-containing materials, radioactive dust and fuel of the reactor and organize radioactive waste disposal.

NSC Novarka Completion Ceremony took place on 29th of November 2016 and New Safe Confinement Slide over 4th Reactor of Chernobyl NPP - on 14th of November 2016.
