On 23rd - 24th of December 2017 in Bukovel Ski Resort will be held Bukovel Snowboard Race - traditional competitions to promote snowboarding in Ukraine.

The best athletes and snowboarding schools of Ukraine and guests from abroad, non-governmental organizations, sports clubs and individually performing participants take part in the competitions.

How to get to Bukovel | Bukovel transfers by helicopter, car, train, bus

During each stage on a specially prepared ski slope 5F all participants could compete in disciplines of slalom and giant slalom.

Athletes and amateurs get two attempts to show the best time to pass the special trail. The rules of the competition are as close as possible to rules of International Federation of Skiing (FIS, Fédération Internationale de Ski).

Spectators could enjoy the speed and skillful passage of turns made by professional snowboarders.

Bukovel Snowboard Race Age Categories of Participants

- juniors are younger than 11-13 years old
- juniors are older than 14-15 years old
- juniors 16-17 years old
- adults 18 years and older

Bukovel Snowboard Race Disciplines

- Giant Slalom (GS)
- Slalom (SL)

On the last day of the competitions the rewarding ceremony will be held on which winners receive medals and valuable prizes from organizers and sponsors.
