Zaporizhzhya Christmas and New Year 2016 Program Holidays celebration will begin with opening of Zaporizhzhya Christmas Tree on Mayakovsky Square which will be held at St. Nicholas Day - on 19th of December 2015 at 14:00. Every Saturday and Sunday until 17th of January 2016 - 14:00 - 16:00 on Mayakovsky Square will entertain animators and will be opened House of Santa Claus. During these days 11:00 - 13:00 at playground in Park of Labour Glory be also organized interactive programs with animators. On 20th of December 2015 at 16:00 will be a concert of Zaporizhzhya City Children's Philharmonic "Music theater and Cinema. Estrada and Jazz". On 21st of December 2015 - 10th of January 2016 in the city will be organized contest for the best organization of New Year and Christmas holidays among general, pre-school and after-school educational institutions. On 16th of December 2015 at 12:00 in City Palace of Children and Youth Creativity will be a charity festival "Good starts with You". On 22nd of December 2015 - 8th of January 2016 will be held New Year's representation in municipal palaces of culture "Factory", "Orbit", "Khortitskiy", "Titan", Concert Hall named Dovzhenko, municipal theaters. On 25th of December 2015 - 14th of January 2016 on Khortytsya Island of in foyer of Zaporizhzhya Municipal Theater-Laboratory "Vie" will work Office of Santa Claus. On 2nd of January 2016 Zaporizhzhya Mayor congratulate mothers who gave birth to the first boy and a girl on the first day of New Year 2016. On 9th of January 2016 on square near Zaporizhzhya State Circus will be held Christmas Agricultural Fair. On 11th of January 2016 at Center for Children and Youth Creativity of Zhovtnevyi district (Gogol street, 60) held winter festival "Christmas Greetings". On 18th of December 2015 at 14:00 in Center of Aesthetic Education of Khortitsky district (Builders blvd., 15) will be final of contest in products of arts and crafts "Christmas gift to a friend". Every weekend on 26th of December 2015 - 19th of January 2016 will be held celebratory concerts and entertainment near Zaporizhzhya Christmas Tree.
