Ukraine Trophy 2012 - Off-Road Cars Competition

Race format: GPS-orienting The race starts at Nezalezhnosti Avenue in Kiev on 1st of July at 11:00 AM on the day of the 2012 Euro Cup Final. The competition will be hosted by the Off-road Sports Association. Over 100 teams from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Germany, the USA, and Lebanon etc. will participate in the largest Ukrainian trophy raid. An extremely difficult track of the Ukraine Trophy has already become a trademark of the Championship. A competition route is considered one of the most difficult routes in the CIS. The race is unique in terms of route length (over 1,300 km) and duration (7 days). The racers will anticipate even more interesting challenges on the territory of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn regions this time pushing the competitors over the edge. A week long route Kyiv-Yasnohorodka-Ovruch-Olevsk-Zarichne-Nevir-Shatsk will appeal not only to the racers but also tourists who will discover incredible Polissya landscapes. Thousands of spectators will come from various regions of Ukraine to support the racers. Final scoring and medal ceremony will take place on 7th of July in Shatsk. Racers of the following categories: ТР1 (standard off-road vehicles of TP1 category), ТР2 (modified off-road vehicles of TP2 category), ТР3 (modified off-road vehicles of TP3 category), ATV (quad bikes), UTV (buggies), OPEN 33 (modified off-road vehicles of Open 33 category), Tourism (any all-wheel-drive cars), and Motor (bikes) will contend for the championship.
