On 1-4th of November 2012 on the territory of Mototrek Pyrogiv (Ukraine, Kyiv, Krasnoznamyonnaya Str., 188) in honor of 69-th anniversary of Victory of the Liberation of Kiev willl take place the 9-th military historical festival “Daesh Kiev!”.
This festival which is organized by MOO Kiev Club “Red Star” and the National Dovzhenko Film Studio is already provides 9 years and became the best military historical festival in Ukraine.
In this year Festival “Daesh Kiev” will be supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Tax Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Ukraine, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Internal Troops, State Custom Service of Ukraine and Kyiv State Administration.
On 4th of November at 13:00 will be reconstructed battle where more than 800 participants from military historical clubs from many countries. These will be a reconstruction of fighting at that real place and will show all tragedy.
Also will be involved a lot of heavy armament, aviation, cavalry. Participants will show the activity of divisions in opposing armies.
In this year we will continue a development the scenario of fightings reconstruction of consolidated group under the command of deputy commander 71-th infantry division the colonel S.I. Slivin on 4-6-th of November 1943 whose operated separately from the main forces of 38-th of the Army which attack from Lyutezh. The fighting of this troop where the most important element of offensive for the liberation of Kiev in order to create a barrier to enemy reserves which start it transfer from Bukrynskiy place after the impact of Soviet troops from a base of Lyutezh on 3rd of November 1943.
Our festival is international as many military historical clubs not only from Ukraine but from Russia, Belarussia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech, Bulgaria, Israel, Germany, France, USA, Poland take a part. Annually the festival "Daesh Kiev!" gathers more participants and to look at the reconstruction of the episode of fighting for the liberation of Kiev in November 1943. Tthousands of spectators come from all over Ukraine and neighboring countries.
