Gastronomic Festival "Lviv on a plate 2012 " will be held on 20-22th of April 2012 |
On 20-22th of April 2012 in Lviv on the court of Potocki Palace will held first Gastronomic Festival "Lviv on a plate 2012". This event - new to the city. However it is expected that holiday immediately attract attention to itself and will be a special highlight in the city which is famous for its festivals. Of course Lviv woven of legends and myths. And perhaps in these stories is not well-known stories about the traditions of Lviv cooking but it is Lviv cuisine for centuries created the inhabitants of this city - Ukrainian, Polish, Jews, Armenians, Greeks, Russians, Italians and others. During three days citizens and guests, gourmet and industry representatives in HORECA (hotels, restaurants, cafes) can view Lviv dishes, regional name of a kind goodies, have dinner at a large table in the open air and visit the fair presentation which will see many surprises. The aim of the festival: the presentation of rich restaurant culture of the city promoting the city as the gastronomic capital of Ukraine creating a platform for cooperation between producers of local products and restaurateurs as well as the revival of traditional gastronomic fairs. |
