Number of helicopters in Ukraine in 2015 in Civil Aircraft Register is around 190 helicopters. The most numerous types of helicopters which have remained since Soviet Union (USSR) are Mi-2 (about 55 helicopters) and Mi-8, Mi-17 (about 56 helicopters).

The second and third positions of popularity are USA Robinson helicopters (22 helicopters) and European Airbus helicopters (17 helicopters).

- AgustaWestland AW139 - 3 helicopters

Next are going other helicopters of USSR era - Kamov Ka-32 (7 helicopters) and made in Ukraine helicopter Aerokopter AK1-3 Sanka (7 helicopters). One of Aerokopter AK1-3 is next generation of Ukrainian made helicopters is Aerokopter AK1-3 Wasp.

In a small number of helicopters are also represented Schweizer 269C (2 helicopters), Alouette-M III (2 helicopters), Enstrom 480B (2 helicopters) and Hummingbird 300LS (1 helicopter).

In case of average price of helicopters sale market capacity of used helicopters in Ukraine could be around 275 000 000 US dollars.
