At the same place in 1729 according to the inscription on the northern doors was built existing Wooden Church of St. Nicholas at the expense of Rohatyn community. Before 1922 shingle roofing replaced by sheet iron. The altar of the church was destroyed in 1944 by German bombs during Second World War. Wooden Church of St. Nicholas was restored after the end of the war and consecrated on 30th of May 1954. The iconostasis of the church of XIX century was redrawn in 1957-1958. In 1977-1978 Wooden Church of St. Nicholas was renovated and at the same time painted murals by oil paints. The last renovation of the church made in 1999.
