From 12th till 20th of July 2013 in Odessa in Ukraine will take place Odessa International Film Festival 2013 that is created with the mission to support and to encourage the development of art and industry of cinema on the territory of Ukraine.

Odessa International Film Festival 2013 program consists of:
- International Competition Program that includes fill-lenth features of high artistic quality aimed for reaching wide audience (“art mainstream”)
- Program of Nominants for Ukrainian Film Award that includes features and shorts (fiction, documentary, animation) entirely produced in Ukraine or in co-production with Ukraine
- Non-competition programs, such as New Russian Cinema, Festival Of Festivals, personal or thematic retrospectives, gala-screenings, special open-air screenings and other events, approved by the Festival’s Board of Directors

The Serbian film director Emir Kusturica will be the honoured guest of the OIFF 2013. During the Opening ceremony he will be awarded "The Golden Duke" for his life-time achievement in the motion picture arts. As a present for OIFF audience and Odessa residents, Emir Kusturica and his punk-folk band No Smoking Orchestra will give a concert on the Festival’s opening day, July 12, on the Potemkin stairs.

- FESTIVAL PASS gives the opportunity to attend all the afternoon and evening screenings during all 9 festival days.
The price of the FESTIVAL PASS for one person for 9 days:
If you buy the pass during 01.04.2013 – 14.06.2013: 800 UAH (around 100 USD)
If you buy the pass after 15.06.2013: 995 UAH (around 130 USD)

- SUMMER FILM SCHOOL PASS gives the access to all morning and afternoon screenings, workshops and Q&A sessions with festival guest stars, as well as a possibility to buy a tent space at the FESTIVAL CAMPING.
The price of the SUMMER FILM SCHOOL PASS for one person for 9 days:
If you buy the pass during 01.04.2013 – 14.06.2013: 700 UAH (around 88 USD)
If you buy the pass after 15.06.2013: 995 UAH (around 130 USD)

- VIP-PASS gives access to the Official Opening and Closing ceremonies, cocktails, afternoon and evening screenings during all 9 festival days, etc.
The price of the VIP-PASS for one person for 9 days:
If you buy the pass during 01.04.2013 – 30.06.2013: 12 000 UAH (around 1500 USD)
If you buy the pass after 01.07.2013 – 10.07.2013: 18 000 UAH (around 2250 USD)

Tickets for festival screenings in the FESTIVAL PALACE and Festival Center RODINA will go on sale July 8, 2013. Tickets can be purchased online, as well as in the ticket-offices in Odessa.

Odessa International Film Festival (OIFF) was founded in 2010 and is supported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency, Odessa Regional State Administration and Odessa Mayor’s Office. The Festival is held under the patronage of the Odessa Region Governor Eduard Matviychuk.

Odessa International Film Festival 2013 Awards, Winners and Results

Grand Prix of Odessa International Film Festival 2013 - film of Alexander Veledinsky “The Geographer Drank His Globe Away” by the results of the public vote and got prize in 12 000 EUR.

Best Ukrainian Feature Film - film “Paradjanov” by directors Olena Fetisova and Serge Avedikian - Golden statuette and money prize of 50 000 UAH.

Best Acting - film “In Bloom” awarded the actor ensemble of Lika Babluani and Mariam Bokeria.

Best Director - film “The Lunchbox” by director Ritesh Batra.
