New Year and Christmas 2015 Celebration Program Gamov Park 4-5.01.2015 Traditional Bethlehem neighborhoods with merchants and wise men, shepherds and fishermen as well as by the great Herod, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus appears to them in Gamov park. Here we will arrange celebrations and a huge fair of Christmas gifts. The organizers are preparing a fabulous staging of "Mystery of Christmas Star". City of Bethlehem is 15 000 square meters inhabited by biblical characters. At its creation prepared 100 bales of straw, cardboard, plywood, paint, brocade and other materials. City was inhabited by 120 historical characters. Costumes sewn from 216 meters of fabric. The city will be divided into sectors: King Herod, Mary and Joseph, fishermen, shepherds, etc. Every hour on the town will go sightseeing tour. Trained guides will tell and show the children the story of Nativity. In addition to costumed characters kids could see real animals - three horses, calf, dozen sheep and donkey. In Ukrainian village guides in authentic costumes will teach children and adults to sing Christmas carols and New Year songs. Also they will treat Cossack's Kulish, real Ukrainian lard and hot tea. For children will preapred sweets. During fair will be three Santa Claus and three Snow Maiden. Every young guest they will hand over Christmas prize. 04.01.2015 Make a cake, go to Festival of Pies, bring your cake with you, try and choose the most delicious! Deribasivska St 2-8.01.2015 In run up to Christmas in the heart of Odessa on Deribasivska St will present Christmas nativity scenes. In the cave you will see and be photographed with Mary and Joseph who performed role of actors as well as touch animals - sheep and donkey. You can also learn more about the history of Christmas and even reincarnated as residents of that era wearing historical costumes. Every day with appearance of the first stars in the sky - at 16.30 - a nativity scene will be a march of procession of shepherds, wise men and merchants. Each tourist of Odessa able to join the procession dressed in period costumes of that era. NearNavity Scenes will be magic Tree of Angels. Everyone will be able to write on a special leaf cherished desire and trust his paper to angel. Each paper with wish will find its place on Tree of Angels. We believe that this will help good dreams come true. Primorskiy Boulevard 02.01.2015 On Primorskiy Boulevard will be a large table with Christmas treats. There will present their national dishes Ukrainians, Armenians, Poles and Russians. Dumplings, cakes and uzvar, sausages and cakes, sweet and savory, hot and cold meals. For Odessa Christmas table "Odessa-Mother Covers?"set new records of Ukraine in Christmas loaf of bread and gingerbread. You can bring your Christmas meal for the table. Palais Royal Park 04.01.2015 Several dozen of Santa Clauses, St. Nicholas, Snow Maidens, reindeer, snowmen, snowflakes and icicles will pass through Odessa city on bicycles and hand over gifts to children. Bike ride starts at Palais Royal Park. Then cyclists will run the route as follows: In Gamow Park Santas, Santa, Snow Maiden, snowflakes and snowmen arrive for start of People's Christmas festivities. Odessa City Garden 07.01.2015 At Festival of Christmas Carols will compete over a dozen musical groups from Odessa region. Here you can learn the old songs with the kids. In addition all guests and tourists of the festival feel Christmas fun that so loved by our ancestors. Odessa Cultural Center 29-30.12.2014 The director of play "Snow Queen" Mikhail Zhuravel promises an unusual version of the old tale, dynamic scenery, raven-musicians and their wonderful crow.
