Odessa Grand Prix Bicycle Race 2015 | On 1st-2nd of August 2015 in Odesa |
Odessa Grand Prix 2015 is one of three cycling races of high level that is included in class Europe Tour 1.2 of Union Cycling International (UCI). The organizers of Odessa Grand Prix 2015 have already started preparing the route which covers the territory of Primorsky district with start and finish on Taras Shevchenko Avenue. Odessa had the opportunity to organize the cycling race because here was held Ukrainian Championship of Cycling in 2014. The most prestigious cycling race in Ukraine is Race Horizon Park held in Kiev since 2008 and which in 2011 acquired international status under Union Cycling International (UCI). According to statistics three-day program of cycling events which took place in Kiev and Donetsk has collected more than 100 000 visitors. In particular in the main start - professional race - took part 9 Ukrainian and 13 foreign teams from Poland, Moldova, Serbia, Greece, Austria, Slovakia, Georgia, Romania, Italy, Germany and Bulgaria - 150-250 participants.
