From middle of May till the end of September in Odessa is opened Underwater Museum of USSR Leaders for divers and tourists who want to dive into the world of Soviet era.

Underwater Museum of USSR Leaders is located near Odessa beach at a depth of 6 - 10 meters.

The exposition presents sculptures of Soviet Union political leaders, naval artifacts, anchors of different epochs, cannonballs of Crimean War, anti-landing hedgehogs of World War II, Greek statues and anchors. In total here there are more than 20 underwater sights and attractions.

The exhibits of Underwater Museum of USSR Leaders are located among picturesque underwater rocks.

Every year the exposition of the museum is replenished.

The museum is accessible by scuba diving and time of Odessa diving tour is around 2-3 hours (1 hour of diving). There is scuba gear rental is included and there is a possibility to rent other underwater equipment.

Odessa diving tour is very good for novice and experienced divers. During the tour diving instructor makes pictures and videos of a diver with statues of Soviet leaders and other places on tourist request.

The exhibits of the museum collection are cast according to special order of durable concrete. Gypsum is not suitable for sculptures of this kind such sculptures will not survive in salt water for a long time.

Another option is Flooded Barge Diving Tour by boat for 5-6 hours with actual 1-2 hours of diving. It is wreck dive to Bolgarian barge flooded during World War II. The wreck is good condition on depth of 6 meters.

The museum is created by a group of divers of Odessa Diving Club.
