The main objective of the project - to make available to all visitors of Khortytsia National Reserve an important and interesting information such as details about the location of attractions, how to get to Khortytsia National Reserve, main natural features of Khortytsya island, the rules of the reserve protection and interesting facts. The main feature of the project - the presence of an interactive map of Khortytsia National Reserve and Khortytsia Island associated with guidebook. All the information on the map linked to detailed stories about the objects of Khortytsia Island with beautiful photographs. To have all the necessary information is allowed by application for Android mobile devices. Now anyone who has such a device with the application could find all needed information during the visit Khortytsia National Reserve without access to Internet or additional sources of information. History of the project The idea of creating a modern tourist information system for Khortytsia National Reserve was born in the spring of 2012. It was then that the first attempt to organize all existing interesting and useful information about Khortytsia Island and merging it into a single system. The main idea was to create an online guide that consists of stories about the sights of Khortytsia Island. At the end of 2012 the idea of a tourist information system has received substantial development. To the plan has been included creation of applications for Android mobile devices including the guide of Khortytsia Island. The basic idea - to create an application that includes an interactive map of Khortytsia Island with the ability of GPS-navigation in the reserve as well as to make information about all the interesting sights of the reserve available anywhere in Khortytsia Island. In parallel with the creation of the project has begun the process of active development of applications for mobile devices.
