On 9th of November 2015 Lviv City Administration bought new Electric Bus Electron E19101 - the first step of city program to create ecological public transport in Lviv.

12-meter Electric Bus Electron E19101 is designed to transport up to 100 passengers. For persons with disabilities provided folding ramp and place in a cabin equipped with safety belts.

The electric bus has traction electric motor - 230 kW. Batteries are safe to use and have a great battery life expectancy (5000 to 8000 cycles "charge-discharge" depending on the operating conditions and maintenance). Onboard charger provides battery charging of 380 V.

Characteristics of batteries allow quick charging - 15-20 minutes to 70% of battery capacity. Continuous monitoring of parameters provides the system of power supply monitoring and battery maintenance - Battery Management System (BMS).

Electric Bus Electron E19101 maximum speed is 70 km/h and it can drive more than 200 km on a single charge.

Liquid heating system (including heater) and air conditioning ensure optimum microclimate in the cabin in any weather.

In the electric bus is applied braking system EBS (two-circuit - ABS, ASR) as well as traffic lights and parking brakes. The body of the electric bus is made of stainless steel.

Cost of Electric Bus Electron E19101 is 9 000 000 UAH (around 360 000 Euro).

Now electric bus will pass certification and testing on the roads of Lviv.
