On 29th of September 2015 in Lviv was installed five bike rental stations of rental service NextBike Ukraine - first municipal bike rental in Lviv.

For tourists and citizens of Lviv offered three types of bike rent:

- One-time rental - 50 UAH per hour (around 2 US dollars)
- Monthly rental - 120 UAH per month (around 6 US dollars) which will use a bike for a month with no limit number of times but limited time
- Year rental - 800 UAH per year (around 36 US dollars)

Bike rental service in Lviv organized by support of German company Nextbike GmbH that operate more than 25 000 bikes in 16 countries. First five rental stations financed by German company. NextBike Ukraine plan to open 22 rental stations in Lviv with support of private and corporate investors.
