On 31st of October 2014 in Lutsk signed an agreement of establishing Polish-Belarusian-Ukrainian Cross-Border Tourism Cluster with goal of tourism development between Poland, Ukraine and Belarus.

In Lutsk took part the conference "Development of tourism as a way to ensure the competitiveness of region" which discussed development of tourism.

The event visited delegations from Poland and Belarus as well as experts in the field of eco- and agro-tourism of Lutsk region.

Among those were presented representatives of Lublin Regional Tourist Organization, Polish National Park "Polossya", Brest Agro Union, Brest cross-border information center, Brest Regional Social and Cultural Center, representatives of Volyn Regional State Administration.

Experts at the conference talked about the development of tourism on three sides of the border as well as the importance of collaboration.

An important step for cross-border cooperation in tourism is signing agreement of establishing Polish-Belarusian-Ukrainian Cross-Border Tourism Cluster.

Agreement was signed by President of Lublin Regional Tourist Organization - Franashek Peter, the head of Volyn tourism cluster - Vasil Baitsym and Chairman of Brest Tourism Cluster - George Gribov.

Creating the cluster is only the first step in the development of cross-border tourism. There is still a lot of work to create and promote brands and attract people to ecotourism. However the close partnership and efforts of people who love their work will give a good results.
