After 1st of February 2015 owners of electric cars in Kiev will have rights for free city parking and charging at municipal EV Charging Stations.

Kiev City Council approved a revisions to concept of "Program of development of parking space in Kiev till 2020". According to them the owners of electric cars can park their car for free at city parkings and charge their electric cars on municipal parking lots.

It is assumed that 5% of parkings will be provided with infrastructure of EV Charging Stations for electric cars.

Currently in Kiev there are 388 fuel stations each of which sells about 12 thousand liters of fuel per day.

Automotive engines of internal combustion annually emit in Kiev over 200 thousand tons of harmful substances. The development of personal electric transport can significantly improve the environmental situation in the capital.
