On 22nd of December 2015 Altasjet Ukraine Airlines select Airport Kyiv (IEV) as base airport for their flights to/from Kiev.

Altasjet Ukraine Airlines decided to work with Airport Kyiv (IEV) despite the fact that specifications of the airport in the long term it is not ideal.

Airplanes that the company can bring of Turkey are Airbus 321. This type of aircrafts can not be operated in Airport Kyiv (IEV) because of a problem of short length of runway of the airport and take-off weight of the aircraft.

Therefore Altasjet Ukraine Airlines will continue to operate aircrafts Airbus 320 with use of all possibilities of commercial loading of the aircrafts.
