On 16th - 17th
of August 2014 in Morintsy will take place Taras Shevchenko Festival 2014 dedicated to 200th anniversary of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.

Performance of music groups: Tin Sonzya, Veremiy, Shpylyasti Kobzari (+Dzhus), Transformer, Kolir Nochi, C.K. (Christina Khalimonova), Ruthenia, Hochu She!, Druzhe Muziko, Folknery, Theoriya Prostoru, Piano, CANFLY,
Polycarp and others.
Educational Scene
Reading of lectures and poems of Taras Shevchenko and take palce poetic battles.
Artist Scene
The artists in real time illustrate "Kobzar" and conduct workshops for applicants. Also held art performances.
Time Machine Scene
Master classes of different kind of arts (pottery, straw weaving, blacksmithing, cooperage and etc.).
Also there will be help special programs for children - folk games, dances, stories, fairy tales and more, theatrical productions associated with life and works of Taras Shevchenko and showing of documentaries, movies, videos and short films.

15:00-15:30 - Arthur Piskovskyy (actor, singer, presenter, musician, along with Yuri Starchevod performed the song "United Ukraine" in support of Ukrainian military and unity of Ukrainian state) - Theatrical reading of "Kobzar".
