In 1928 completed the sacristy, in 1939 Wooden Church of Synaxis of Blessed Virgin Mary repaired. In 1949 - 1989 the church was closed. When in 1990 opened for worship the church was consecrated to St. Dmitry Church. To the south-west of the church there is a wooden three-tiered bell tower with a balcony on the second floor. It was built in 1924 by master Michael Veklich by efforts of theologian Vladimir Kunovskyi as reported by the inscription on the eastern door jamb (now lost). While travelling of wooden churches it is interesting to see that wood that is used to build the churches has white spray. This is salt that is impregnated wooden timbers to protect against insects. So wood for the construction of churches not only held for about 100 years but specially kept in salt lakes for some time to save hardwood for many years and even centuries.
