From 20th
till 23th
of June 2013 in Lviv in Ukraine will be international festival of oldtimer (retro) cars and race competition on the historic Lviv Triangle road circuit - Leopolis Grand Prix 2013.
The event is dedicated to 81th anniversary of the first Leopolis Grand Prix international circuit race at "Lviv Triangle".
About Lviv Triangle
"Lviv Triangle" is a temporary race track on the streets of Lviv. It runs along Vitovskoho st., Stryiska st. and Hvardiyska st. The road circuit and surface (basalt pavement blocks) have remained virtually unchanged since the first official "Leopolis Grand Prix" race of 1932.
Official record of best lap time on the "Lviv Triangle" road circuit is 2 minutes 2 seconds and 5 hundredth of a second (2’02,5’’ – 89.368 kmph) by Eugen Bjǿrnstad, Champion of Norway. Established on June 11th 1933, driving Alfa Romeo BC-2300.

All participating cars are divided into 5 points classes (races A, B, C, D)
and 1 additional "ZAZ 965" (race E) as follows:
Race A (pre-1946) – sport and race cars manufactured before 31.12.1946.
Race В (pre-1946) – non-sport cars manufactured before 31.12.1946.
Race C (after 1946) – non-sport cars manufactured after 31.12.1946.
Race D (after 1946) – sport and race cars manufactured after 31.12.1946.
Race E (ZAZ 965) – cars of only "ZAZ Kozak Club"

Grand Prix Winner - Iremeush and Dorota Osovsky from Poland (antique car of 1938)
Second Place - Michael and Anna Zenjo from Poland (antique car Aero-3000)
Third Place - Michael Prudnikov from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine (antique car BMW of 1948)
Also presented with awards in other categories of Leopolis Grand Prix 2013. In particular the competition among "ZAZ 965" (Race E) of models of 1961-1968 years won First place Vasil and Nazar by ZAZ of 1963. Second Place won Vladimir and Severin Yankevich from Lviv by ZAZ of 1968. Third Place won to Sergei and Anna Tishchenko from Zaporizhzhya by ZAZ of 1964.
