Here is interesting story conneted with this church. Before elections to Soviet Parliament of USSR in 1970 one of candidates came to Stoyaniv with business visit. There he noticed an old Wooden Church of St. Paraskeva that stood near newly built Home of Culture and expressed the wish that the church will not to spoil monument of Soviet architecture. Wooden Church of St. Paraskeva was decided to destroy. It was only by proposition of Ukrainian Regional Organization of Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments regional council made the decision to transfer the church to newly created Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. In 1975 Wooden Church of St. Paraskeva was dismantled and moved to Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life. The church stands on stumps of wood logs dug into the ground. In front door to the church preserved original carved inscriptions. To the north-west of Wooden Church of St. Paraskeva is a three-tiered wooden bell tower. It is unusual that windows of the church are with red glasses and interior of the church is filled with red color. Some tourists have sence of fear and danger. It is the most mysterious wooden church among churches of Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life.
