On 23th
of June 2013 in Kiev, Ukraine on European Square at 18:30 will be held Festival Stairs to Heaven 2013 - international festival of classical music, jazz and ballet. The festival invited prominent representatives of Ukrainian performing arts as well as foreign musicians.
The slogan of the festival "Word-Music-Woman". The "word" - inspired space news of human beauty and the world, "music" - a unique sphere containing codes harmony between human and the universe, "woman" - a perfect shape, symbolizing the divine nature of woman - harmony, beauty and love.
Festival Stairs to Heaven 2013 Participants
- Soprano Oksana Dica (Italy-Ukraine, soloist of La Scala, Vienna State Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Mariinsky Theatre)
- Countertenor Yuriy Minenko (Russia- Ukraine, the first Ukrainian singer and the first countertenor for the finals of the International Competition for Opera Singers "Singer of the World" in Cardiff in the history of this competition among the top three of the world countertenors, soloist of Great Theatre)
- Virtuoso-violinist Vasyl Popadyuk (Canada-Ukraine, a member of the prestigious jazz festivals in US and Canada)
- Pianist and composer Dmitry Naiditsch (France-Ukraine, winner of France's most prestigious theater award - Award of Moliere) along with musicians from France: Remy Vignoles (drummer and bassist of the great Michel Legrand) and Gilles Nature (bassist, composer, conductor)
- Pianist Dmytro Sukhovienko (Belgium-Ukraine, winner of the first prize at the International Music Competition in San Bartolomeo, artistic director of concerts at European Parliament in Brussels)
- Ballerina Elena Filipeva (prima ballerina of National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine, winner of many international competitions, "the favorite of Maya Plisetskaya")
- Trumpeter Andrew Ilkiv (Honored Artist of Ukraine, winner of the title "The first talent of the world" from the Society of Music Lovers, Tuluza, France)
- The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine conducted by Vladimir Sirenko
