On 13th - 15th of December 2013 in Kharkiv on climbing wall of Sports Complex Vertical will be held first in the history of Ukraine - Ukrainian Ice Climbing Championship 2013.

The event is supported by Ukrainian Federation of Mountaineers and Climbers (UFMC) and will be the first competition of ice climbing that right now only start to spread around Ukraine.

Ice Climbing is an activity of climbing through ice structures or formations. These formations may be in the form of frozen waterfalls, icefalls, ice slabs or rocks covered with frozen water or ice or artificial structures.
