On 16th of December 2015 - 8th of January 2016 in Kharkiv will be held celebration of Christmas and New Year 2016.

In celebration program included more than fifty events - sports, music, theater, art and charity events, festivals, competitions and exhibitions.

On 18th of December in Palace of Students of National Law University named Yaroslav the Wise will show children fairy tale "Kingdom of Magic Mirrors".

On 19th of December 2015 will be held celebration events in Central Park of Culture and Rest named Maxim Gorky.

On 19th of December 2015 in Day of St. Nicholas in Kharkiv libraries will work book exhibitions and in concert halls - music performances.

During winter holidays pupils can visit New Year's show "Tale of Forgotten Toys" which will take place in Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named Mykola Lysenko.

On 26th of December 2015 in the small hall of Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named Mykola Lysenko will present children's ballet-musical "Cat House" and on Freedom Square on the same day at 17:00 will open Kharkiv Christmas Tree.

Tourists and guests of Kharkiv could celebrate Christmas and New Year 2016 Holidays on Freedom Square and in Central Park of Culture and Rest named Maxim Gorky.
