On 5th - 7th of September 2014 in Kamyanets-Podilskyi in Ukraine will take place Festival Respublica 2014 - three days music and street art festival in Kamyanets-Podilskyi Castle and Old Town.

In 2014 the festival will be attended by about 40 music bands of Ukraine and abroad.

Festival Respublica 2014 this year will pay as much attention to joining people from the east and west parts of Ukraine. In 2014 during the festival will create, read and act artists of all regions of Ukraine. In particular the musical part of the festival will become an example of how culture can unite people. During Festival Respublica 2014 will serve not only musicians from abroad, central and southern Ukraine but also from the east: "Jinjer" of Horlovka and "The Patch" from Lugansk and others.

Also support the festival agreed music bands "Behind the Masquerade" of Germany and "Nadija" of Poland.

This year during the festival artists will create a major wall painting in the memories of Maidan.

Organizers also announced an agreement with headliner of Festival Respublica 2014. However headliner of the festival now wished to remain incognito and will be officially announced on 1st of September 2014.

The main idea of Festival Respublica 2014

• take art out of the gallery walls, museums, academies, and put it onto the city streets
• we do not agree with the format of “culture” imposed to us by TV and radio from with unspoken agreement of the state
• decommercialization of the public city space by means of attraction of modern street art
• less fences, private areas and supermarkets. More parks, art schools, music events
• the street culture and street education should not necessarily bear a negative shade
• who do you think grey and dirty streets and buildings can generate and bring up? But if they are transformed into picture galleries, the child who lives in these streets, will grow up a ifferent person at all
• our goal is to fill our streets with painting, music, dances and poetry
• Festival Respublica 2014 Anti-Money fest is conceived as the anticommercial festival action which aim is the concentration of attention on cultural and social problems of small cities as well as in the country in general
• the festival is the self-sufficient project. We do not have any businesses or political parties behind our back
• goal of the festival is to show that the present and qualitative
