On 10th - 12st of May 2013 in Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine will take place Blacksmith Festival 2013.

This year it will be the eleventh international meeting of blacksmiths in Ivano-Frankivsk. The main objective of Blacksmith Festival 2013 is to preserve the blacksmith art as craft.

In the days of the blacksmith festival central streets of Ivano-Frankivsk ( Sheptyts'kyi Square and Bastion Square) turn into one large forge. Here you can see how iron turns into works of art. In addition guests of festival could buy souvenirs and just have fun.This year you will find workshops, conferences, interesting excursions and parties.

Every year the number of participants increases. According to the organizers in 2013 a gift from blacksmiths should be new "Bridge of Love".

• Registration of guests and participants (registration fee - 50 grivnas (UAH)
• Demonstration of blacksmith work and fair forged items, making by blacksmiths of Ukraine and foreign guests elements for "Bridge of Love"
• Opening of Blacksmith Festival 2013
• Opening of Monument to the First Ukrainian Church
• Master class "Positive from masters" - the creation of iron compositions by master blacksmiths on "Positive" subjects like good luck, success, joy, kindness, inspiration, prosperity, wealth, good order, stability, happiness, love, prosperity, harmony, strength, development, intelligence and wisdom.
• Conducting workshops for children from blacksmith Andrew Davishniy (Crimea)

18:00 - Music party "Blacksmith Song" by invitation only (100 grivnas (UAH).

10:00 - Opening of12th International Exhibition "Ornamental Forging". Awards of the best blacksmith works of the festival. Completion of Blacksmith Festival 2013.
