On 6th - 7th
of July 2013 in Hola Prystan near Kherson, Ukraine will take place Folk Art Festival Kupala Stars 2013.
The main purpose of the festival - the promotion of Ukrainian folk art, revival of traditional festivals and ceremonies, ritual song heritage, support and development of Ukrainian national culture and decorative art.
The program of Folk Art Festival Kupala Stars 2013 includes the following activities:
- invitation by creative teams on carts
- exhibition and sale of artists arts and crafts, Kupala amulets, wreaths, conducting workshops and presentations
- contest of song and ritual dance, theatrical performances, songs and dances on Kupala Holiday, creative teams performance
- entertainment on the water with elements of Kupala rites "Be a guest of water nix"
- cossack entertainment
- sports: sailing regatta, performances of parachutists, boat races, wrestling, football, weight sport, boxing, checkers, chess
- carnival procession
- theatrical performance with elements of Kupala rites "The Kupala night no last long"
- contests "Kupala Beauty", the best Kupals's wreath
- concert of Ukrainian music stars
