On 30th - 31st of January 2015 in Hecha, Transcarpathia will be held Festival Disnotor 2015 | Pork Butchers Competition - traditional holiday with cutting of pigs, cooking pork and fair of pork products.

In the morning a team of professional butchers (genteshes) of different villages of Transcarpathia will gather in front of Hecha city council. Festival guests will be treated with hot wine and homemade plum brandy.

Until late at night butchers (genteshes) demonstrate their skills and cook variety of traditional Transcarpathian, Hungarian and Ukrainian dishes - greaves, gurkhas, sausages, bograch, cabbage rolls and more. Guests and visitors of the festival could taste pork products with best Transcarpathian wines.

On the main stage of Festival Disnotor 2015 | Pork Butchers Competition will sound live traditional music performed by ensemble "Bozhar".

30.01.2015

12:00 - start of cooking and tasting of Transcarpathian, Hungarian and Ukrainian national dishes of pork (greaves, gurkhas, sausages, bograch, cabbage rolls).

31.01.2015

07:00 - gathering of butchers (genteshes) teams in the territory of the festival
07:15 - presentation of teams, participating in the competition, get acquainted with folk traditions, cutting pigs
07:30 - refreshments of contestants with hot wine (mulled wine) and homemade vodka (plum brandy)
08:00 - catching and cutting of pigs, traditional roasting of pigs with straw, meat processing, sorting
08:00-14:00 - making of national Transcarpathian, Hungarian and Ukrainian national dishes of pork (greaves, gurkhas, sausages, bograch, cabbage rolls)
08:00-18:00 - wine tasting of local winemakers
09:00 - refreshments and sale of food, demonstration of smoked sausages
13:00 - grand opening of Festival Disnotor 2015
14:00-17:00 - entertainment program
17:00 - awarding of winners of the festival
20:00 - Dancing and entertainment until the morning
