In Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv in Ukraine will be held European Basketball Championship 2015 - Eurobasket 2015 Ukraine - one of the TOP 3 sport events in Europe and TOP 5 sport events in the world. FIBA Europe and FIBA World works with Ukrainian Basketball Federation, central and local governmental authorities of Ukraine to prepare for Eurobasket 2015 Ukraine.

It is expected that the preparation for the championship Eurobasket 2015 Ukraine will cost at least 300 million EUR.

For the first stage of the championship candidate cities must have a minimum capacity of the arena in 6 000 seats, second stage - 10 000 seats, for finals - 15 000 seats.

Right now there are three investment companies that prepare projects to build and renovate arenas in cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv.
