National Nature Park "Dzharylgachsky"

Tourists go on boats from Skadovsk to National Nature Park "Dzharylgachsky". Boat trip provide an opportunity to enjoy views of Dzharylhach Bay and tourists could look at Black Sea dolphins and sea gulls.

On arrival at the first stop in Dzharylhach Island tourists go on a walking tour (or ride by car) on its south shore. Almost 100 meters from the coast is a monument that recalls the events of World War II and placed in memory of the heroism of sailors. Next tourists walk Ecological Trail "Reserved" of 5 km length (around 1 hour of walking).

During the passage of Ecological Trail "Reserved" tourists can enjoy views of Dzharylhach Island and get acquainted with flora and fauna of Northern Black Sea, photograph representatives of wildlife. Next stop calls "Lake" and then the path continue to "Conservation Area" and to the south coast of Dzharylhach Island.

At the stop "Blue Lagoon" on the beach tourists may collect a large number of shells of various molluscs. Sea water is so pure and transparent that at the bottom can be seen shrimps, crabs, hermit crabs, gobies and other sea creatures.

Tourists will be able to relax on the endless sandy beaches and swim in Karkinitsky Bay with watching of dolphins. Recreation includes all kinds of climatotherapy - aerotherapy, air baths, heliotherapy, thalassotherapy.

After returning to Hlyboka Spit anyone can order seafood, play volleyball, fishing, ride a catamaran, "banana", kayak or swim in Dzharylhach Bay. Next by boat tourists back to Skadovsk.

The route starts from the pier of Skadovsk. Boats trip from Skadovsk to National Nature Park "Dzharylgachsky". During boat trips there is an great opportunity to enjoy views of Dzharylhach Bay and look at dolphins accompanying the boat. Next arrival to Dzharylhach Island - the largest wild uninhabited island in Europe.

During the tour tourists observe flora and fauna of Dzharylhach Island and visits lighthouses one of which is a monument of history and culture was designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1902.

Staying in this unique part of the island at the same time provide an opportunity to swim in the waters of Dzharylhach Bay and Karkinitsky Bay, lay in the sun on beautiful sandy beaches and enjoy Black Sea from Cape Dzharylhach. Recreation includes all kinds of climatotherapy - aerotherapy, heliotherapy, thalassotherapy.

Tourists can book dinner on board the ship "Sergey Skadovsky", "OM-104" where the menu consists of seafood and products from environmentally friendly agricultural products of local manufacturers.

After resting and enjoying the unique nature of Dzharylhach Island tourists go back to Skadovsk.

Birdwatching tour of the island passes on foot and the area is marshy so the tourist should be prepared for the fact that it will be necessary to cross the lake to the knee and even to the waist in the water.

Accommodation is organized in a tent with cooking on an open fire. It is important to prepare in advance photo and video equipment for protection from moisture.
