On 12th - 13th of September 2015 in Cherkasy will take place Festival of Light Aviation 2015 which will involve professionals aviators, pilots, aircraft owners, representatives of light aircraft factories of Ukraine and other countries, aero clubs - all for whom light aircrafts are way of life and a source of inspiration.

On territory of Cherkasy Airport will be organized cafes, souvenirs, animation program for children, city tours, planned launch of balloons in Valley of Roses and Sailing Regatta on Dnieper River.

10:00 - 14:00 - Registration of participants of Festival of Light Aviation 2015. The grand opening. Performance of Cherkasy School of Fighting Gopak. Festive buffet. Tour of Cherkasy Airport with review of light aircrafts.

Flights of light aircrafts over area of Cherkasy Airport by coordinated routes. Morning and evening flights on balloons in the area of Valley of Roses (by appointment). Sightseeing walking tour "Streets of Old Town", Buddhist Temple "White Lotus" (optional).

16:00 - Sailing Regatta "Cherkasy Sailing" with participation of sailmen of Cherkasy Yacht Club.

17:00 - Gala Dinner on cruise boat for participants of festival, organizers and mass media (admission by invitation only).
