From 1st of May till 8th of September 2013 in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Ukraine will take place series of tournaments on the traditional historical fencing "Steel League 2013". Venue: Akkerman fortress, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odessa region, Ukraine.

As part of festival "Steel League 2013" from May to September 2013 you will be able to take part in the seven festivals: "Akerman Challenge", local championship "Cup of Bessarabia", 12th Open Championship of Ukraine, 9th International Historical Fencing Cup of Commonwealth and others.

In accordance with the development plan of the festival organizing committee informed that for the first time in Ukraine will be held Female Historical Fencing Championship.

Program of historical festivals and tournaments "Steel League 2013"

1st and 2nd of May 2013 - opening of the festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Opening"
1st and 2nd of June 2013 - festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Part 2"
15th and 16th of June 2013 - "Cup of Bessarabia" (with fighters from Odessa, Odessa region, Moldova and Transnistria)
29th and 30th of June 2013 - Festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Part 3"
13th and 14th of July 2013 - 12th Open Championship on historical fencing (with fighters from all over Ukraine and CIS countries)
20th and 21st of July 2013 - Festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Part 4"
27th and 28th of July 2013 - 1st Championship in women's historical fencing (with the participation of female fighters from all over Ukraine)
10th and 11th of August 2013 - the 9th Commonwealth Cup on historical fencing (with the participation of national teams of Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Belarus)
17th and 18th of August 2013 - Festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Part 5"
24th and 25th August 2013 - Festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Part 6"
7th and 8th of September 2013 - final festival "Akerman Challenge 2013. Last Stand"

This season the organizers have planned a lot of new and interesting possibilities for fighters and visitors and guests of "Steel League 2013" festival. In addition the program includes festivals fairs, amusement games, crafts, shooting, fencing and other entertainment.

Everyone who arrives in Akkerman fortress on the festival "Steel League 2013" will be able to see a fierce and exciting jousting matches, group fights, informative master classes and medieval entertainment.
