On 14.08.2026 at Polonyna Chemerytsa near Yaremche was installed The Largest Hutsul Bartkas of 7 meters and 80.5 centimeters high as a new National Record of Ukraine.

A bartka for a Hutsul was once much larger than just an axe: it was used in the household, taken on the road as a support in the mountains and if necessary for protection.

Over time it became one of the most recognizable symbols of the Hutsul region.

And now this symbol has acquired a scale worthy of a Ukrainian record.

The venue of the installation is Green Woods Park near Yaremche - an entertainment family park famous for its Gulliver's Swing, The largest 360 Swing in the Carpathians and the Zip Line of 500 meters in length and 42 meters high.
