On 19.02.2026 in Kyiv took place the public report about Ukraine Tourism Economic Results 2025 compared to 2024 by the Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine Natalia Tabaka.

Based on the provided information total Ukraine Tourism Tax 2025 was 4 426 mln UAH (around 87 million EUR) compared to 2024 when it was 2 938 mln UAH (around 57 million EUR). Compared to the year 2021 when the total tourism tax was 2 231 mln UAH (around 44 million EUR) the results of 2025 shows the growth of 100% up which is an amazing achievement.

The growth of tourism tax collected based on Ukrainian hotel night accommodation in 2025 (359 mln UAH - around 7 million EUR) is 31.5% compared to 2024 when it was 273 mln UAH (around 5.3 million EUR). Compared to the year 2021 when it was 235 mln UAH (around 4.6 million EUR) the growth is 52% up.

Leading Ukrainian Cities for Tourism Tax 2025 (Hotel Accommodation)

- Kyiv - 70 mln UAH (around 1.37 mln EUR)
- Lviv Region - 63 mln UAH (around 1.23 mln EUR)
- Ivano-Frankivsk Region - 46 mln UAH (around 0.93 mln EUR)
- Transcarpathian Region - 31.9 mln UAH (around 0.62 mln EUR)
- Cherkassy Region - 28.5 mln UAH (around 0.55 mln EUR)
- Odesa Region - 20.3 mln UAH (around 0.4 mln EUR)

The total number of taxpayers in the tourism sector in Ukraine in 2025 is 20 759 which 3775 are legal entities and 16 984 are individual entrepreneurs. Compare to 2024 the growth of companies in Ukraine tourism is 17.6% when there were 17 649 taxpayers which 3583 are legal entities and 14 066 are individual entrepreneurs.
