On 09.08.2026 in Rivne took place The First Trolleybus of Rivne Skoda-9Tr Tour by the group of classic transport enthusiasts from Lviv and Ternopil.

Fully restored classic Skoda-9Tr trolleybus could once again be seen on the streets of Rivne because there was a good opportunity for a group of young people who are not indifferent to retro transport to order it for a private tour around the city.

Trolleybus №1 Skoda-9Tr is a living legend of Rivne - it was she who opened the trolleybus traffic in the city on December 24, 1974.

An interesting fact is that the guests either did not find Skoda-9Tr trolleybuses on the routes in their cities or they turned out to be memories of early childhood for them so a trip on the "time machine" became a real holiday for them.

The organizer of the event, 18-year-old Albert, shared his impressions: "Thank you very much for such wonderful rides and for preserving the first trolleybus and restoring it to such a state. It's really cool when a city cares about its history and its transport!".
