LifeStyleCamper X-RID is a New Tourist Caravan made in Ukraine |
The key concept of the new caravan is a complete independence for the weekend from the classic camping infrastructure - it has an insulated sandwich body, the battery providing electricity, heating, water tank, kitchen, hot shower, portable dry toilet and three sleeping places. Lets look in detail what is included in the LifeStyleCamper X-RID package and which of them cover your needs completely and which ones are limited. Sleeping Comfort The caravan body is a durable sandwich construction with a thickness of about 35 millimeters covered and a two-component polymer coating: in winter it is warm inside and in summer the interior heats up less.
When parked the LifeStyleCamper X-RID is fixed on four supports so the caravan will not sway while you are sleeping or making love. Three double acrylic glass windows have built-in blinds and mosquito nets. There is a panoramic sunroof, ceiling ventilation hatch REMIS REMItop Vista 400x400 mm, high-quality sealed entrance doors and full LED lighting. Electricity Supply for Laptops, Cell-phones and Ipad The basic battery heart of the caravan is EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus 1024 Wh with four AC sockets and two solar panels of 185 Watts each - a total of 370 Watts. To charge the battery with solar panels of 370 Watts it is necessary 3.5 hours of ideal peak sun shine, 4 hours of good/average sun shine and 6 hours in case of partial clouds.
The caravan can be powered from an external 230 volt network, from the on-board 12 volt system or from a portable charging station. Heating and Hot Water Shower The Whale Heat Air combination system can simultaneously heat the salon of the caravan and water operating on gas or an external power supply. Also as an option offers modification of the caravan with diesel Webasto Air Top 2000. A 10-liter ELGENA boiler with heating up to 70 degrees is responsible for hot water which is a bit limited for there people to have normal time hot shower with 15 liters of water per shower per minute. Even for two people, in case of mixing hot and cold water to get it warm, appears a bit of waiting time for the next 10 liters to heat up for 40 to 60 minutes. Looks like the engineers of the LifeStyleCamper X-RID design the 10-liter boiler more for washing dishes (handwashing uses about 13.5 liters of hot water for three persons) with limited hot shower option inside the salon.
With the Thetford Porta Potti 365 portable dry toilet of 21 liters of waste expect the tank to reach capacity in 2 to 3 days if the family uses it for all solid waste. Kitchen Compact kitchen with gas hob and sink and built-in 70-liter compressor refrigerator Indel B Slim 70 operating from the on-board network and consume 290 Wh per 24 hours. So in case of the full day refrigerator use the total consumption from EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus is increased to approximately 720 Wh. In case of lack of solar power the owner of the caravan needed to reconsider the additional option of EcoFlow Alternator Charger to charge from a car battery which took approximately just 1 hour and 20 minutes. Luggage Compartments Two front luggage compartments of size 320x920x480 mm (will fit one standard cabin-size suitcase each) and a side luggage compartment of size 1440x690x910 mm (which is big enough for at least 12 standard cabin-size suitcases) are quite enough for all hunting, fishing and family weekend belongings. Caravan Base LifeStyleCamper X-RID is built on a strong welded frame with hot-dip galvanizing, independent Knott suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers is designed for a load of up to one and a half tons, the braking system is also Knott with a V-shaped drawbar. The trailer automatically brakes together with the leading car. 16-inch alloy wheels, 235/70 R16 off-road tires and a full-size spare wheel are installed.
