On 27.08.2026 Kyiv Restaurant Poltava will host The Dinner of The Gastronomic Heritage of Poltava by Chef Yevhen Klopotenko who will cook seven new dishes inspired by the culinary heritage of Poltava.

Have you ever heard of lemishka or putria? Or perhaps you've tasted knyshi prepared the way they were in Poltava hundreds of years ago?

One of Ukraine's richest culinary traditions was born in the Poltava region and the Chef Yevhen Klopotenko wants to share its story through contemporary cuisine.

Together with Inna Popereshniuk he will share stories from their gastronomic expeditions across the region, the discoveries they made along the way and how these traditions have been reimagined in a modern interpretation of Ukrainian cuisine.

The evening dinner, starting at 19:00, for around two hours features a seven-course tasting menu with each dish thoughtfully paired with a selection of Ukrainian wines.
