On 24.01.2026 in Haivoron, Ukraine will take place Steam Locomotive Train Tour by the longest narrow-gauge railway in Europe pulled by the oldest operating steam locomotive in Ukraine (1938) - 159 №4-95.

The steam locomotive train will travel along the following routes: Haivoron - Khaschuvate, Haivoron - Bershad and back. In total - about 70 km under steam power. The train will include Pafawag passenger cars of Polish production from the late 1950s, Soviet passenger cars of the PV-40 type built in 1982 and a rare tank car from 1966.

07:50 - arrival of a special train from Kyiv and Lviv at the Haivoron Station

09:00 - 09:40 - departure of the tourist steam locomotive train from the Haivoron Station to the Khaschuvate Station, along the way - photo stops for filming the steam locomotive in motion
09:40 - 10:20 - stop at the Khaschuvate Station, cultural and artistic program, the tour of the Station
10:20 - 11:00 - return trip from the Khaschuvate Station to the Haivoron Station without stops
11:00 - 12:00 - charity fair from local authorities
12:00 - departure of the tourist steam locomotive train from Haivoron Station to the Bershad Station
12:15 - 13:05 - stop on the bank of the Southern Bug, cultural and entertainment program, hot lunch
13:05 - 14:10 - non-stop trip to the Bershad Station
14:10 - 14:50 - stop at the Bershad Station, charity fair, the tour of the Station
14:50 - 17:00 - return trip of the tourist train from the Bershad Station to the Haivoron Station, along the way - photo stops for filming the steam locomotive in motion

The average cost of a one-way steam locomotive train tour ticket is 115 UAH for an adult and 85 UAH for children under 14.

Traditionally for convenient access to the starting point and return home it is scheduled non-stop trailer cars on Kyiv - Haivoron and Lviv-Haivoron routes. Trains depart from Kyiv and Lviv in the evening of 23.01.2026 at 20:28 and 15:58 respectively and return from Haivoron on 24.01.2026 at 21:20. Transfer tickets are already on sale as well.
