On 20.02.2026 in Ivano-Frankivsk took place ReStart Tourism: New Challenges and Development Forum - the important event in shaping a professional tourism system of the region in order to create comfortable conditions for guests.

The venue of the tourism forum was King Danylo University and the event brought together representatives of the government, tourism, hotel and restaurant business, educators and scientists in professional discussions.

The program included four discussion panels:

- "ReStart Tourism: Cities and Development"
- "ReStart Tourism: Barrier-Free Component"
- "Transformations of Ukrainian Tourism in War and Post-War Times"
- "Tourism: Health and Recovery"

The forum discussed the development of tourism and recreation, the formation of tourism identity, state policy and strategic directions for the development of the industry, barrier-free tourism, adaptation of services for veterans and people with disabilities, hippotherapy as a method of physical and psycho-emotional rehabilitation as well as medical tourism as a tool for recovery and rehabilitation.

The forum has become an important platform for professional dialogue dedicated to the development of tourism in its various aspects - from urban development and tourist identity to barrier-free and medical tourism.
