On 18.09.2025 in Poltava city center was opened Helicopter Mi-2 Art Object for the tenth anniversary of the creation of the XVIIIth Separate Army Aviation Brigade named after Igor Sikorsky.

The helicopter as a temporary art object was placed on the site of the former Monument to Rest of Peter the Great.

By the idea of the organizers "Mistohub" she should be there for around three weeks but looks like in real it stood on the location for the one day only and then was removed.

The helicopter Mil Mi-2 was in service in the aviation brigade and now after decommission it has a new role in its life as an art object and stationary display helicopter.

For sure, the new art object will bring more attention to Poltava Museum of Long-Range and Strategic Aviation with unique aircrafts like Tupolev Tu-160 White Swan (Blackjack), Tupolev Tu-95MS (The Bear), Tupolev Tu-22M3 (Backfire), Tupolev Tu-22K (Blinder), Tupolev Tu-16 (Badger), Tupolev Tu-134UBL (Crusty), Aero L29 Dolphin, Aero L39 Albatross and helicopter Mi-6A and Mi-2.
