The Longest Labyrinth made of Rapana Shells with AN-2 and Mi-2 is near Odesa |
Over 134 tons of rapana shells formed this amazing construction which has no analogues in Ukraine. The shells were brought here from all the seashores where they were blown by storms then they were cleaned, dried and weathered under the sun. This process took several years. The rapana shell labyrinth has its own name - "Mother-in-Law's Wilds"! Also in New Vasyuki Amusement Park near the labyrinth there is an aviation area with green aircraft Antonov AN-2 looks fully preserved and two helicopters Mil Mi-2 - one red as a fire fighter and other one is blue as a police helicopter. Unfotunately both Mil Mi-2 are just improved empty bodies with artificial main and tail rotors.
A key idea to visit the New Vasyuki Amusement Park is, of course, an Aquapark with Aqualand, Spray Park and Pool-Zone. Aqualand has 6 water slides for adults, 5 water slides for children and a shared pool. Spray Park has 36 spray elements, three water slides for adults and children, two water slides for the youngest, a children's pool with hydromassage. Pool-Zone has a heated children's pool, communal pool, three children's water slides, water curtain and trampoline arena.
Also the park has interesting locations such as Dinosaur Canyon, Suspension Bridges and Motorcycle Museum. A special visit is important to make to the Motorcycle Museum which has more than forty motorcycles and scooters of USSR time in perfect restored condition.
