On 01.01.2026 in Lutsk will start Lutsk Tour Guide Courses which are organized by Lutsk Tour Guide School with the idea to promote the development of tourism by training qualified personnel to accompany tourists.

Theoretical and practical training of tour guides will include 600 hours and over six months: studying and mastering methodological techniques for conducting tours, compiling and calculating routes, mastering psychological techniques for working with different groups of tourists as well as studying the history and present of the Lutsk, its architecture, traditions and monuments. By the end of the course students will prepare a "tour guide package" and an author's tour.

After completing the course students will acquire skills in guiding tours and developing routes and will receive a certificate in the specialty "Tour Guide".

The term of study is 6 months during January - July 2026.

Requirements for candidates: basic or complete higher education, knowledge of at least one foreign language.

The full cost of training at the Lutsk Tour Guide School is 6 000 UAH. Half of the tuition fee is covered by Lutsk Tourism and Promotion Department and the student pays only 3000 UAH. This is an investment in training tour guides who will develop the tourism industry of Lutsk and Lutsk region.
